Adam has litigated numerous and diverse commercial contract disputes in fields such as the supply of airplane parts, the staging of professional boxing matches, agreements to supply Amazonian tree bark, musician and artist royalty agreements, management consulting agreements, licensing agreements, publishing agreements, agreements for the supply of temporary labor, agreements to make charitable donations, finders fee and commission agreements, confidentiality and non-compete and non-solicitation agreements and many more.

Real Estate Litigation

Adam has represented owners, landlords and tenants in complex lease disputes and has both obtained, and defended against Yellowstone injunctions in New York State Court. Adam has also represented commercial tenants in both holdover and summary proceedings in Commercial Landlord Tenant court in New York City. Adam has also brought proceedings seeking foreclosure on mechanics liens and has represented clients in the construction industry who failed to receive payment for their work.

Corporate Disputes

Adam has brought and defended against disputes within small and family run close corporations and has represented majority shareholders and corporations against minority shareholders bringing derivative claims against the corporation and minority shareholders seeking to bring claims against corporations. Adam has also negotiated the resolution of claims brought by one business partner against another and has negotiated small company shareholder buy-outs.
